Creating alert for vEdge control connections

Question

I was wondering if there is a way to monitor if a backup control connection is down on our vEdge routers with SolarWinds. There are times when the interface is up but the provider is having issues and we cannot actively see if the connection is stable. Does anyone have any advice for creating an email alert that would let us know when a backup control connection fails?

It seemed promising at first but unfortunately I can't find the OID I need in SNMP Walk. I'm on Orion attempting to create a poller package on a router using an OID that detects bfd session changes or control connection changes but the majority of the OIDs in the MIB tree says "Unable to poll this OID on the test node. Try using a different OID or a different test node."

I'm hoping someone who has experience with both Cisco SD-WAN and SolarWinds can assist.

If you can find the OID that corresponds to that value you can create a universal device poller.
