IPsec tunnel phase 1 and 2 monitring via NMP.

Question

We have two links on router and as critically of link we configure shifted link as soon as one link goes down to make tunnel remain up. But now challenge is monitor link health, who goes down and which is problematic one?? ..

So please do let me know can we monitor the IPsec tunnel phase 1 and Phase 2 monitoring through SolarWinds NPM.

Can you see the event in the juniper event log (syslog)?

If yes create alert on that event & work around the SNMP..

Thanks for reply, usually juniper we have in our environment.

As for as this particular site we have IPsec tunnel between Head Office and regional office and due to business need makes this critical in downtime of media so we make multiple media vendor for this tunnel remain up by auto failover.

now tunnel remain up but new mission in front to monitor links health. Any more clear resolution kindly.
