Error in configuration wizard

Got this error while running configuration wizard. Any help?

Database configuration failed:
• Exception while configuring plugin Orion Core Services component Orion Database. Cannot define PRIMARY KEY constraint on nullable column in table 'Stencil_NodeSpecAssignments'.
Could not create constraint or index. See previous errors.

Services configuration failed:
• Error while configuring component Orion.RunDatabasePackaging.

Thanks all for the response. We are using 2020.2.1 HF2 and rebuilding the Solarwinds environment with old database.

The issue was resolved with the help of support by dropping the DB table in the error.

I am not the most qualified person to provide a definitive workaround for this, but given the current situation, I guess any help is some sort of help.

I think you will be able to resolve this issue if the user defined in Configuration Wizard has been granted sysadmin privileges.
That is the user defined in the first screen of Configuration Wizard where it requests the SQL credentials.

Start of by cancelling the Configuration Wizard, make a backup of the database, grant sysadmin privileges to the user you are using in Configuration Wizard then launch Configuration Wizard and try again.

Whether it completes successfully or not, you should remove sysadmin privileges for that account when done with Configuration Wizard.

I have a couple of background questions:

what version are you currently on
what version are you going to
if I ask you "how are your database maintenance jobs running" does that fill you with confidence, dread, or make your eyes glaze over?
(meaning - is the maintenance job something you usually pay attention to)

With all that said, presuming you're on a more recent version, check Settings, All Settings, My Orion Deployment. If that's there, take a look at any errors you find and fix them prior to attempting the upgrade.
