SolarWinds Syslogs being forwarded to external Syslog Server

Question

According to our firewall we are forwarding syslog messages to an external source from one of our polling engines.  But I'll be darned if I can figure out how this is happening.  Nothing I have Googled concerning forwarding SolarWinds Syslogs has been the least bit helpful.  Seems like there would be a simple set of instructions "Here is how you forward syslogs to an external source."

Anyone have any ideas?

From the server, open the legacy syslog viewer application. Select view, alerts/filter rule and there should be a forward rule to your external syslog there.

Have you opened a support case for this issue? If not, I'd recommend doing that first. This is a curious case, so if you wouldn't mind, please also send me the case number. Support should collect details/diagnostics so we can assist in getting to the bottom of it.
