We just purchased Solarwinds with NPM to manage our Cisco Routers and Switches. We have not in the past used a remote management tool so I am in the process of making sure we can pole and configure them to be poled per the deployment doc on Solarwinds site. My question is around doing a straight install into AWS and not first setting it up in our DC then migrating the application and DB to AWS. I've seen and read several Solarwinds deployments in AWS to manage AWS devices (integrating Cloudwatch etc), but I've not seen anything on my situation. I know we will need to use Remote Connectors to pole the devices remotely. Any guidance would be appreciated.
