Alert question

Going to use the built in "Alert me when the free space of a volume is less than 5%" as an example.

I am alerting on my entire server environment with this.

I have a GROUP that contains all my SQL servers. Can i add logic in to that alert, that if the server is in that GROUP also email my DBAs? Or will i need to duplicate that alert and target it towards that GROUP and set the alert that way.

You are likely better off creating a separate alert for DBA's, because one you start making exceptions it is easier to keep things separate. Down side is you potentially have more things to maintain. Be sure and leave a bread crumb so you know which alert rule you wrote the email/message with usually a unique key or phrase for the alert rule. This makes it 3 AM friendly.

Another suggestion, I would use custom properties to filter instead of groups for disk alerts.
