Increase resources on a VM not in recommendations

Hi

looking for recommendations

I would like to schedule the shutdown and increase of CPU and memory on a VMWare virtual machine.

I have successfully used the recommendations in the past however this task is not in the recommendations as we need to increase resources for future workloads.
