Will there be a 2013 Thwack Camp?
Virtual thwackCamp tentatively scheduled for the week of October 7th, 2013! Submit your session topic suggestions NOW!!!
I'm curious as well... I missed 2012 and have been waiting for some kind of announcement...
We are working on deciding how to repeat an event like ThwackCamp, but do not have confirmed details yet. If we do have a repeat event, it will again hit later in the year. Thanks for your interest in attending an event like this!
Or, even crazier.....might there someday be a Solarwinds annual conference?
Would you consider attending something like that ?
Absolutely I would. I can't imagine I'm the only one.
I would be on board
I could probably vouch for 3-8 of my guys to be in attendance to something like that.
It would give me a reason to get back to Austin... It would be in Austin right?
I would be on board as well, If you when with something like an annual conference would you consider a Europe (UK) conference as well as a US one for all the fans of solarwinds here
i would be on board for a solarwinds conference
Any more thoughts on this from the Solarwinds Side?
We are working hard to come up with something great for this year and next!
Any updates. My boss is considering sending some of us to a Compuware Conference and I would much rather come see you all.
LIke x 10,000
Should have more details and confirmation by early next week :-) For now, we are planning on another virtual event, so no need to worry about travel and conference expenses this year.
Top XX things you are probably not taking advantage of in NPM, SAM, NVQM, etc
It's coming...

Where do we submit sessions? Here?
I'm new to Thwack and I'm on the vendor side, but have been working on an integration project for the last few months, which may be of interest to the community.
The overall project is an API integration between NPM and Plexxi Control SDN software, to use SolarWinds data to create Affinities in Plexxi Control which can be used to build dynamic network topologies in a Plexxi network.
However, during this project we built a standalone Python library to pull data from NPM using SWISS REST API calls in NPM 10.5. This Python library provides a simple set of class methods to access the NPM database, hiding the complexity of the underlying REST and SQL calls.
The standalone python library can be used by any user of NPM
I could do a session on either / or / both

Interesting setup you have there... Lets see if any others might have interest in hearing about this integration.
Let's move forward with your proposal, Simon. I'll contact you off line
