Good morning all,
I have a virtual server that is showing its C drive as red (down or issue). I can not locate any reason why it would be red. Anybody else having this kind of issue?Respectfully,
Jay Myers
Can you do a list resource on that node and check if C:\drive is selected under list resources page ? If its unselected then that's the root cause.
Delete the existing one and select the one shown under list resources.
In an interesting turn, I unchecked all resources under volume management. After rediscovering it and several poll cycles, it is still there.
It's just a quirk of the UI, you can't delete a volume that has changed from the list resources view, you have to do it from manage nodes, expand the node, then check the volume you want to remove and delete it.
Hi @jmyers
That's the behavior of SolarWinds, those down volumes will still remain under the node as its already added into the database, you will have to delete the volumes from the node (settings->manage nodes->search for node->expand->select the down volume -> delete) as these are dormant volumes and then select the node and re-add the volumes back through list resources by selecting the ones that you want to monitor to fix this issue.
