When creating a dependency, I get what the first radio button implies, but the second one is not clear at all.
The way I read it is it says: "if the parent object is down and it has child dependencies then alert on them as well" - which is surely contrary to the point of creating dependencies. So, I clearly don't follow what it is saying.
Anybody have an answer?

As a supplemental query, as we have a lot of dependencies, is it ok to store these dependencies anywhere we prefer in the group structure or do they absolutely have to reside in a specific location to work? e.g. when you create a dependency, it auto appears in the root view (MyDashboards >> Groups) but it would be nice to move them all into their own folder (aka group), or even the group that they are created for.
