Our Solarwinds setup is like this.
Primary poller and APE's all sat in a domain - I can logon to UnManage Schedule on any of these boxes with no issues.
We also have further APE's setup within specific large client environments that are not a part of the client domain, but are standalone servers. AFAIK, all relevant firewall rules & routes are in place and all other aspects of polling/monitoring/reporting from these client based APEs works.
What I can't do is find the magic sauce that allows me to logon to the Unmanage Schedule tool on these standalone APEs.
I have tried
- My domain based account for the primary poller/APEs
- My domain based account for the client side
- Standalone admin account that I use to logon to these servers
- Same account but with .\ preceding it to indicate local domain
- Same account with @local and/or @localhost after it
- Same account with servername\account and
- Same account with @servername
None of them work and I am now thoroughly confused.
Help please anybody?
