How to run a script to put nodes under maintenance ?

Hello
I am looking for the best approach to create a script that will put some specified nodes under maintenance and avoid alerts during changes ?
I am expecting to do the reverse as well i.e. remove maintenance on specified nodes when activities are completed.

Is someone already done this ?

Trying to understand the intent here,

1. We can schedule unmanage nodes (in bulk) in NPM - why are we looking for an alternative ?

2. We can as well unmanage nodes through DB Manager, you just login and run a SQL query to unmanage nodes in bulk at once (make the necessary modifications on the SQL Query accordingly)

Hello

My customer is doing a lot of development and when they are installing a new release, they would like to add to their script the action to put the nodes in maintenance instead of doing it manually.

In the meantime, i found an article on a powershell script that is doing this:

Probably also possible to use REST API even if I am not really familiar with this.
