Peak Interface Percent Utlization

We are working on a report that will tell us the amount of traffic hitting our uplinks and downlinks. We have roughly 950 to look at. We want this report to so we can identify where we may need to move from a 1g connection to a 2g or higher.

I have seen a post in here for a chart showing certain interfaces, but we are looking for a table format report and for all 950 interfaces.

So does anyone know if this is possible and if yes, can anyone suggest how to built this report. It doesn't matter is if it is made in Report builder, SWQL, or SQL. We are looking for a report that will show the MaxInBps, MaxOutBps, and MaxPercentUtilized for the last 7 days

toy can do create a report showing interface utilisation.

Log into your Orion

Settings, All Settings, Manage Reports,

click on Average and Peak Traffic - WAN interfaces Last 7 days or you can edit that to the interfaces that you want

I have been able to create the utilization, maxin, maxout report like you mentioned. The missing key we need is whether or not we can see a Max utilization for a week. I cannot find that information anywhere.

I needed a similar report so I used MAX TRANSMIT TRAFFIC RATE TODAY and placed this in a table that showed this over 30 days in the month.

We knew our interface was 1GB and over the course of the month we never hit more then 3MB (possibly because of COVID and everyone was working from home) but that report showed the daily usage over an interface in the month.

Glad to see we are not the only people trying to monitor this. My current report has the Max Daily, Min Daily, and the UtilizationPercent, but the powers about want the MaxUtilizationPercent and all of them for a 7 day period. I have yet find a way to do this on a report, especially with so many connections to monitor
