the Node.js command prompt response output disappear/ blink

windows 10.

hello,

i am very new to nodejs...

when i open the Node.js command prompt and try node -v

than a black window appear and disappear and this is it... i cant see the result...

only when i do: yarn start the output response window stay..

the same happened when i try the terminal in vscode..
