Infrastructure moving to Private Cloud

Hello,

We are having an environment with NAM 2000. We are having 10 APEs with HA. All Server are Windows Server 2019 Standard and Database is SQL Server 2019 from a Cluster.

We are having a Private Inhouse Cloud and are planning to move the infrastructure to Cloud. Just to have below queries:

a) Can i Move the Databases (Orion Database, Netflow Database & Log Database) only to Cloud and Servers using the existing itself

b) Can i move all the SolarWinds Infrastructure (Orion Servers & Databases) to Cloud

Which option is good for performance and financially viable.

Me personally would not recomend it, but according to the documentation you can run your SW Orion environment in the cloud:

My environment is 100% in GCP. 10 APE's, 4 web servers. Those decisions were made way above my pay grade and we had to lift and shift everything 2 years ago. Everything is about as fast as it ever was so that's nice, initially it was costing a pretty significant chunk but we've managed to get our billing down to around $300-400 a month for Orion plus a few other servers that our team uses.
