Edit Report Contents

So I have a report created by someone else that I want to reverse engineer to see what and how they did it.

So I create a copy and go into the 'Edit Table' and see, for example:

My question is - how do I see what field or query 'Serial' is using?

If it makes any difference - NPM is ver 2019.4

If you go in the report that you are trying to copy, can you see the field and Serial that is being used?

Yes - I can see the results in the report, I'm just needing to identify what descriptor is in use to pull that out. But as fas as I can tell, I can't actually edit the word SERIAL to change (or see) what it is using.

If that makes sense?

Is the report that you are trying to copy live and emailed?

If so can you email it to your self?
