Cisco 9200 series switches, Interface Discard errors incrementing, seeking cause.

Version: Orion Platform HF1, NPM HF1: 2020.2

Multiple stacks of 9200 series switches running .... individual interfaces are racking up "Transmit discards" as NPM terms them. Don't know why, these are the only switches that are doing that. Have eliminated cdp neighbor protocol drops as cause. Does anyone know why this would be happening?

Do you mean NPM is reporting them but they are not actually occurring or they are occurring on the switch interface and you are looking for a reason?

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. I don't know what to correlate it to in the switch itself. It doesn't seem to be a counter that shows when you run a "show interface" command.
