Useful Widget for APC UPS

Hi,

I'm looking for any useful widgets to monitor UPS. I guess my first question would be what i should monitor on UPS in general? Then basic on the items, which ones can I show on the node summary page? Then it's easier for network administrator to check UPS status. Thank you.

Disclaimer: I work for Tripp Lite

In general, the "UPS MIB" a.k.a. RFC1628 MIB is a useful MIB to poll for UPSes from a variety of vendors. I'd think your APC devices will respond to it too, but it's easy enough to check.

upsAlarmsPresent.0 ( .1.3.6.1.2.1.33.1.6.1.0) is a very information rich value. If there are no alarms, then you is a decent bet the UPS is operating normally.
