Orion Maps editing node links

I am using NPM 2020.2 SP1

when using the Orion Maps I can multiple nodes just fine. I would like to remove some of the automatically generated links for nodes.

Is there a way to add nodes and remove some of the automatically generated links. Network Atlas this was fairly easy to do, in Orion Maps I cannot seem to find this feature. I see I can edit the link, but not an option to remove the link itself.

@hernandez.julio92 In Orion Maps you have the option to hide connection types but not individual connections. This would be a feature request.

I saw that option in the list of things to show and it does remove the links, but no option for which links to remove. I was thinking that it may not be something available just yet. Thanks for the confirmation.

Correct - An all or nothing option at the moment. You cannot be selective which is what I am interpreting you are hoping for.

We had a similar issue when we had a map for our cisco switches in that some 'extra' links were being created which implied that these devices were directly connected where infact they weren't.

We discovered that this was, in our situation down to the fact that as well as monitoring the actual interfaces on our devices, we were also monitoring 'vlans' on some devices which resulted in connections also being made for the 'vlans'

To get round this in our situation as we didn't really need the 'vlans' monitored we just removed the monitoring of these and the links disappeared.
