Comparison of IPMonitor alerts versus those from Storage and Virtualization

I have Network Performance Manager, Storage Manager, and Virtualization Manager loaded into Orion.  I also have IPMonitor.  I have been asked to provide a revamp of our company's monnitoring and alerting of systems.  I'm new to the Solarwinds products so I'd like to know if anyone can provide a brief description of which product is better?  Does IPMonitor do a better job of profiding alerts for ping, memory, cpu, network, SQL Server, etc, or can this be setup with the other products that I described?  Thanks!

For basic alerts about CPU, memory usage and SQL server you can use NPM. But, if you want better insight on server and application you can try SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor.
