This question is about Log Analyzer but as much about the Orion framework, hence I have posted it here for visibility. A new fresh install of NPM, SAM, VMAN, LA and NCM.
For some reason LA is not collecting any logs. I chose the module as part of the initial setup of the aforementioned modules. The default ports of 514 and 162 are not open, but the services are running in the Windows Services as well as the Orion Service Manager. I cannot telnet to these ports either remote OR local. However I *can* connect to 6514 (secure). I am not sure why this is the case and I have not run into this issue during past installs and setups. No local firewall running.
Likewise, even with several systems that have the Orion agent installed and are configured for Logging Enabled, no data is being written to syslog, traps for SNMP devices configured to forward to trap or showing in Message Center.
Hoping for some guidance.
