Sending alerts as POST to external system

Good evening, 

I am a beginner in Solarwinds and I am looking for options to integrate Solarwinds with my application.

As per the doc https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/Success_Center/loggly/Content/admin/alert-endpoints.htm#HTTPEndpoints POST message can be sent but I don't know how to set it up exactly. It says the susbsystem Loggly can send the POST message but otherwise I dont know how to progress.

I'd like to integrate the Solarwinds Network Performance Monitor and Solarwinds Server & Application Monitor with my application. Also I'd like to see the fired JSON / XML too if possible.

Any hint / doc / advice would be highly appreciated!
