Experiences with 2020.2 upgrade

I'd like to hear about others' experience upgrading to Platform 2020.2.

We recently attempted to upgrade our small Orion Development environment from 2019.2 to 2020.2. The upgrade didn't throw any errors, but the ability to monitor HyperV hosts disappeared. We can't check and save the "HyperV" box when doing a list resources, and the virtualization summary view is not updating. (we are using the basic virtualization manager, not VMAN). It is actually showing servers removed before the upgrade. We've spent 3 weeks with support, and we're now going to restore the system to the 2019.2 version and attempt another upgrade. We are considering going to 2019.4 this time, it hopes it will be better. We can't consider the 2020.2 environment for our production area if this is the norm.

We recently upgraded our production system to 2020.2 HF1 and have no issues monitoring hyper-v hosts and we are able to select the hyper-v option. Also before downgrading did you try to re-run the config wizard? to see if it fixes the issues?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, we did rerun the config wizard several times, to no avail. Support also tried repairing the core services, as well as rebuilding several tables in the database. Their final suggestion was to restore to the original version and try again. I'm hoping that this was just a fluke, and that if we attempt it again, it will go better.
