NPM Upgrade(s) - Widgets have no data

Just curious if we're the only ones that experience widget issues after every single upgrade?  It seems like every update whether it's a major release or a point release we end up troubleshooting issues with widgets.  SolarWinds tech support doesn't seem to know the fix, at least for this round of trouble (v.2019.4). 

We've rebuilt the website, services, and database using the configuration wizard.  We've deleted the website data and rebuilt that using the wizard.  The alerts and everything NPM offers seems to still be functioning but different portions of the website do not work (i.e. All nodes module is empty, Grouping is empty, the sign-in button doesn't work).  With all of this said, if you go into Node Management all the nodes are present, you can drill down into data per each node, and you can manage groups.

I have had major issues when running upgrades recently - and they were always seem to be with the web site.

After many hours of working with support this is what solved the issue

Go to the Orion installation folder. The default location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion.

-Find and open ConfigurationWizard.exe.config using a text editor.

-Locate the following line within the file:

          <add key="PrecompiledWebsiteDisabled" value="false"/>

-Change the value for the setting to true.

-Save the file.

-When the Configuration Wizard is ran, the pre-compiled website will not be used and website optimization must not be skipped.

I am not sure that this would be your issue but this process has worked for me.  This must also be done on each additional web server if they are in your environment
