Alerts dashboard

Question

Hi All,

I am working on creating a dashboard for the NOC for alarms. Basically I have created 4 widgets (unavailability with node / interface down events, environment with hardware events, persistent issues with events ongoing for more than 1 week and f5 events).

It works fine, all filters are showing the right information but right now I am starting to move to alerts so it can be acknowledged, assigned to a responsible team / person, have reset conditions when some issue is automatically fixed, supression, etc.

Just configured the widget on the dashboard to show alerts instead of events. I am able to see the alarms but they are not links, and also it cannot show the status led (I didn't find it on the DB columns) so basically it´s a text.

Someone faced the same problem or find any way to resolve it?

Tony, that looks pretty good!

I'm still contemplating the design of this dashboard at the moment.  This is a management view of the alert activity for a specific group of devices in the environment...  Not all devices.   This is a management view so acknowledgement isn't an issue.  We use another tool for alert escalation management outside of SolarWinds so any limitations on workflow automations are not an issue, and if management want to press the acknowledgement button, that might give them some satisfaction, but it is not relevent.  But being able to display the red/yellow/green icon is definitely a plus.  I'll need to be able to select which alerts for each widget.  Ideally I would have multiple widgets on the page with each one selecting a specific vendor/group.  We have a very large environment, byt my department is concerned with just 4 vendor's products as a subset of the environment, and those vendors are not all inclusive so for vendors like Cisco I would want to select on a custom property to split off our cisco's.  My alerts have a "responsible team", so I can select on that instead, for simplicity.

Are you creating a modern dashboard for this purpose? Would something link this work? Note, clicking the acknowledge link does not allow you to enter the notes.
