internet explorer glitch

Hi,

I've been the Network Monitoring Services for my organization for about 4 years now. Until upgrading to the 2018 series and now 2019.2 we never really had any problems. Now it seems there several glitches I'm unable to work out on my own.

This only affects Internet Explorer, but that's all we are allowed to use in production.

The browser becomes unstable after a period of time when the page is not used. As in just having a page with a map, and it's just refreshing. This is what we mostly use SolarWinds for.

I've found that if I adjust the polling intervals to 30 seconds, the problem begins more quickly. If I adjust the polling setting to 240 seconds it takes longer for the problem to materialize.

It appears this problem happened when we moved from NTA having it's own database to utilizing a seperate. I'm fairly certain that has nothing to do with it. Just an observation.

Another problem is sometimes the web page map shows a broken .jpg icon (thats the best way i can explain it). Opening the page in another tab fixes it for several days then it happens again.

I have 4 installations supporting 2,000 end users.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Workstation Event Viewer:

The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation
permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{8D8F4F83-3594-4F07-8369-FC3C3CAE4919}
 and APPID

 to the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM SID (S-1-5-18) from address LocalHost

Services administrative tool.

When I close the browser:

The program iexplore.exe version 11.0.17763.771 stopped interacting with
Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is
available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control
panel.

By opening many tabs with the same map I can reproduce the problem.
