NPM 12.4 Node add error message upon clicking OK, Add.

I added 2 nodes and on each add I received a different error message upon clicking OK, Add.

Both nodes were Cisco switches (if that matters at all)

Error #1
The type initializer for type 'Soalrwinds Orion Core BusinessLayer DALNodeBLDAL' threw and exception.

Error #2
the other message said something about net.tcp port 17777 on localhost but I missed out on as i clicked ok by mistake before grabbing a screenshot.

Any help is appreciated.

I'd open a support ticket and send them diagnostics for that. Looks like issues on the server side while queries are running. I'd also highly suggest updating to the 2020.2 patch level since a lot of the issues with those services are now fixed going forward.

Thanks Chris. I found the answer (at least for the issue we were experiencing) it had to do with ipv6 being enabled on the primary servers interface. I stopped orion services disabled ipv6 on the nic, restarted the orion services and the error has been non-existent. Thanks for taking the time to respond!
