ASA Site to Site VPN Tunnel Names

We are running Cisco ASA's with a number of Site to Site VPN's. We are finding that NPM reports each VPN using the peer IP address. We would like to have this show a descriptive name rather or as well as the peer IP.

All our interfaces have a nameif statement, is there a way to get this reported as well. Would prefer an automated way of doing it, but happy with an manual task if it gets the results

A workaround that worked for is to name the tunnel destination IP using 'name' cli command on ASA.

Example:

# name 1.1.1.1 Tunnel_To_LocationA

Also, if you want the destination IP to be included in the email alert as well, SolarWinds variable '${N=SwisEntity;M=TargetIPAddress}' can be used to pull that into the email alert.

Example:

Site-to-Site VPN Tunnel ${N=SwisEntity;M=DisplayName} (${N=SwisEntity;M=TargetIPAddress}) on ${N=SwisEntity;M=AsaDevice.OrionNode.Caption} is ${N=SwisEntity;M=Status;F=Status}.
