Volume Alerts with Application Details Included

Question

Guys, I have a good system to alert on volume disk space thresholds being breached. All fine there but what I would like to do is list the applications affected also. Now I could use custom properties on the nodes for this but its not very scalable. I'd like to dynamically query the list of applications against the node that hosts the volume and include that in my alert. Is this possible?

You can run a SWQL/SQL query to retrieve the application names but the alert only reads the first cell (first column, first row). Applications on this node: ${SQL: SELECT cast(cast(Name as varchar(max)) + '' + ', ' as XML)
FROM  [dbo].[APM_Application]
where NodeID = ${NodeID} FOR XML PATH('')}

This will return the names of the applications on the node that triggered the volume alert.
