Solarwinds 11.01 and SQL 2005 upgrade

Hey SolarWinds community;

NPM 11.01, APM 6.1 and NTA 4.1

We are about to upgrade our SQL server from 2005 to SQL 2014;

Existing hardware will be used, our approach is to backup/detach the SW DB and system DB's wipe the server and install OS and SQL 2014..

Has anyone completed this before without any issues? also if the DB restores to using SQL 2005 compatibility mode will the application have an issue changing this to 2014 mode???

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
