Cisco ASR Map Shows no Neighbours

Monitoring some Cisco ASR devices (1001-HX Router) with NPM  2019.04 and under List Resources I select all the routing aspects as follows:

And all active interfaces. However, after numerous polling cycles the map shows no neighboring devises. Why would this be? Do I need CDP/LLDP on the L2 interfaces or something else?

NPM uses CDP as well as MAC address tables, ARP tables, and a bunch of other stuff to discover and calculate topology.  The following things help make it more accurate:

• Add all of the involved network devices to NPM.
• Make sure topology polling is enabled on each node (list resources tells you).
• Enable CDP where possible.

Also if Network Atlas does not pick it up you can manually make the connection in the new Orion Maps.
