Directory Filling - What is it for?

Hello,

Since our upgrade to 9.3SP3, we've been filling the hard drive of our server almost constantly. At first it was from dumps from services crashing so we turned off dump writing. We've been looking at some different locations and I noticed the following folder had a lot of data:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SolarWinds\JobEngine\ThresholdStreams\Temp

It had 808 Meg filled with files dated from yesterday to today. Is this normal?

That's not normal. That's where job results are stored temporarily. Do you have a lot of wireless devices? Are you using energywise monitoring on a lot of devices?

We've got about 10 controllers that are each 1/2 - 3/4 the way full. We also have about 5 energywise switches.

I've got an open case for services crashing, I wonder if it is related.

Is there a fix? We are having the same problem NCM 5.5 it is killing our disk space within one day. Our directory is getting fill with over 58 Gig of data per day until NCM stops working. We didn't have this problem until the 5.5 upgrade.

When you say NCM 5.5 is killing your disk space, can you please help us understand how you came to that conclusion? Which directory is being filled up? We haven't had any other NCM 5.5 customers report this issue, but we are very committed to getting this resolved for you.
