Orion Log Viewer - Query/Question

Hopefully someone my be able to help here.

Trying to setup some rules based on snmp traps being received to use the alerting engine to send an e-mail.

When i try to configure a rule, the rule creates as does the alert but it doesn't seem to fire upon the trap coming in.

Below is screenshot of the trap, and i'm searching on 'hwflt' in the message.

Now looking at this screen, i can see a message in the top left that says 'Full text search is disabled'.

Is this my issue? And if so how do i go about setting up full text search? I assume it is referring to the SolarwindsOrionLog database and not my NPM Database?

I know that this alert will work using LA, as i setup a fresh VM with a trial of LA using the exact same criteria and this fires an alert fine.

Any suggestions as to why the alert doesn't fire on Log Viewer would be appreciated.

Finally resolved this issue, it turns out that the rules albeit created under my own login account were using the default 'admin' account which is disabled on our system.

Re-enabled the admin account and it now works as expected.

Is the alert set up properly on the alert page in Orion? make sure everything is correct in the trigger actions tab of the alert.

@neomatrix1217 Yes the alert is setup exactly the same in both instances.

The alert works in the instance using Log Analyser.

The alert doesn't work in the instance that is using Log Viewer

Is the one that is failing on the latest version?

The one that is failing is running 2019.4.1

The one that is working that was downloaded as an offline installer from our customer portal is running version 2019.2 HF3 - that was the only version available to me.
