Is there a way to make Solarwinds Orion NPM ping an ip address from an ip address?
We are trying to find a way to monitor the actual internet connection at our 2 data centers. At each data center we have 2 internet circuits. One is a Verizon router with a pingable public ip address, the other is a Charter IP address that is not pingable from the network but can receive pings from the Verizon router. Both sites are setup this way.
We have polling engines at each site. We would like to use the polling engine at site A to monitor the 2 internet circuits at site B and vice versa.
Is it possible to configure a monitor that uses the Verizon ip address the ping the Charter IP address?
