How do I include node hostname in service status Email from SAM?

Hello,

I have component monitors configured as part of a template, and the template attached to nodes.

I have given each component monitor a meaningful name, however, when the component monitor changes state, an Email is sent that contains only the component name.

How do I configure the alert triggered by a status change of a SAM component monitor to include the hostname of the node?

I'd prefer to change this setting globally than just add a variable to the component monitor name.

open "Advanced Alert Manager"
Click Configure Alerts
Select the Alert, and click edit
Select Trigger actions Tab
Select Edit Selected Action
Select message tab

you will want to put ${NodeName} in the subject line of the email or in the body of the email

Example:

Subject Line: Component ${ComponentName} is ${ComponentStatus} on ${NodeName}

Body:

Component ${ComponentName} for ${ApplicationName} is ${ComponentStatus} on ${NodeName}

That sounds like exactly what I want to do.

I am very new to the NPM/SAM world, coming from icinga (nagios), so I don't understand where to adjust the email notification contents.

Where can I do this?
