Thin Access Point Removal when no longer required

How do we remove unwanted Thin AP's from NPM once they are no longer required (moved changed etc) as these still show as being down in wireless summary view. We are running latest version of NPM. Is there an option for removing them or is it down to deleteing them from the database some how.

Seriously still no answer to this? Been over a year and still appears to be a gaping flaw in this product.

How obnoxious. It really can't be that hard to fix.

This is actually fixed in the next version of NPM (10.2), which is currently in Release Candidate (RC) state.

We would LOVE to see some of you give it a try and tell us what you think.

I have installed the RC of 10.2 and the thin AP does disappear from the list when it is down but because of this I cannot use the Thin AP down alert. Should the AP be removed immediately, or after X amount of time, or with user intervention?

Or better yet am I missing something?

I still cannot find the solution to remove the thin AP from inventory on NPM version 11.5.3

Can someone please advise if a solution is developed and deployed on current version where thin AP's can be removed from the inventory?

I know this is a really old post but I figured I'd add my two cents for anyone still looking into this.

You can remove old AP's via the Database Manager.

In the manager connect to the default server and navigate to Wireless_AccessPoints, double-click it and execute the query. Click Enable table editing and find the AP(s) you want to remove. Click on the far left-hand side of the table and it should highlight the entire row, then you can just right-click and select Delete Selected Rows.
