Windows Agent version 1.8.551.0 would support Windows OS 2016?

We have a Windows agent version 1.8.551.0. Currently windows server is on Windows 2012 and would like to upgrade to Windows 2016.

Would this agent still support on the new OS, or do we need to upgrade the agent version as well?
