File / Directory backup - which ones

Hi

Can anyone clarify exactly which Directory's (or files) need to be backed up on 9.5 ?

Basically I want to keep the backup time down to a minimum.

I assume I need to stop all services prior.

Any advice apprecaited.

"Creating a Web Console Configuration Backup" in the Orion NPM Administrator Guide.
The sections "Copying Maps", "Copying Custom Reports", and "Updating Report Schemas" from the Orion NPM Migration technical reference.
The steps for creating and restoring database backups in the Moving Your Orion NPM Database technical reference.

I think you will definitely want to backup and restore your website config. Creating and restoring a backup of your database would ensure that you have all settings stored in your database, but you will have all the old devices that you will need to remove. You will also want to copy over all reports from one NPM server to the other.
