My situation is this: when we lose utility power to a specific site (remote communication tower site) Orion uses a UDP to let me know when power is off, as well as UPS battery capacity, etc. After about an hour I usually log in to a PDU at this site and turn off a few devices to limit the load on the UPS and increase runtime. What I'd really like to be able to do is create and alert in Orion so if the power is off for X minutes Orion will send set commands to the PDU and turn off those devices for me. Wouldn't that be nice? haha Anyway, the alert is no problem, but I have no idea if the "sending a set command" is possible with Orion (maybe using scripting? which I know very little about) or if there is a better way to go about this. My Orion server also has the Engineer's Toolset if that helps.
