Configuring alerting guides

Question

Hi

Are there any guides available that document how to setup alerting in NPM for basic features regarding dell poweredge servers such as:

server up/down status
faulty memory
predicted hard drive failure
fan failures
temperature probe issues
psu failures

thanks for the repsonse that helped a little!

can anyone explain though how to bring back specific data as in when a server (node?) reboots it brings back specific info as opposed to "unknown state" like this:

"Alert: TESTSERVER is Node status is Up, 'Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet' is in an Unknown state.."
