Once or twice a day I get notifications that a "node is up"...but we never got a "node is down" notification.
I was standing next to one of the nodes the other day when I got a notification, so I KNOW that it did not reboot.

I've seen this happen if the SNMP service got restarted even if the computer itself didn't reboot.
I've also seen this happen in my network gear if I have a bad gbic. If that could be the case, just swap gbics with another port and if the problem follows the gbic...well, that's your answer.
