Last 25 Events in Network Summary Home

I want to understand how the Last 25 Events is populated on the Network Summary Home page. Specifically, when do events get cleared from this view?

The resource just asks for the last 25 based on time. If no new events come in, the list won't change.

The Last 25 events on the web page will be cleared if someone goes into to system manager and clears the event log.
