Orion 9.5 upgrade fails on OrionModuleEngine

I mostly set it to disabled during install/running the wizard. This gets all other services up, but not netperfmonservice. So set it back to automatic and run the wizard. Now keep an eye on it using task-manager and kill it as soon as it starts. A few install/wizard should get you the wanted "All services installed and running"

I also had a few problems with sql upgrade, the install not being able to change sql-columns from varchar to nvarchar. I changed this myself in SQL and reran install, and got one step furter everytime.

I also uninstalled Engineering toolset and LanSurveyour from the server, but not sure if this had any affect?

JasonKV, did you sort this out? What error are you getting? Did you try re-running the config wizard?

I was able to eventually sort it out but it was a long long task.

I had to rollback the database to the previous save that we had. Then I had to reinstall APM, VoIP and Orion 9.1 SP5 in order to get Orion Module Engine back up and running. My BIGGEST complaint, beside the fact that VoIP 2.1 destroyed my Orion install for a number of hours, is that SW still has not fixed that fact of the NETPERFMON service not killing itself durring the Configuration Wizzard.

I will be following up on the case I have open and Case 98251 which was referenced on Thwack to be a similar problem.
