VM Sprawl?

I am thinking about writing a report for Orion to help detect VM sprawl for VMWare. Before I do that I would like to hear from the community on what you think constitutes VM sprawl.

Please share any comments you have on this and hopefully we can come up with a report or set of reports for Orion, thanks!

I know, but sadly I don't have that product and am in a situation where I need to make the most of what I have now. In a perfect world I would own the entire SolarWinds buffet. With a bit of elbow grease I think I should be able to do a reasonable job of getting this with NPM.
