Goal: To have NPM map display a table from SQL
So, we have router ABC with tunnel 111. The command of "snmp-server enable traps bfd" is in the router IOS (and the appropriate trap commands).
BFD drops, it shows in IOS log, trap gets sent to Solarwinds.
In trap viewer, we have the action to be: color trap as red and change interface status to: down
Now, if you were to click this interface/tunnel in NPM, the administrative status is up, while the operational status is down. SQL agrees with this.
Full disclosure, on the IOS the router says the tunnel is up/up ---- but when the BFD drops, the engineers count it as down - so we work with that.
So, how can I get a red line/red dot on the map to represent this, SQL seeing the operational status as down?
