I asigned a MIB to be polled for my Window servers. The one I selected is HP-SYSTEM-MIB:hpCpuTemperature. I selected it because we have HP servers and I presumed (perhaps incorrectly) that a MIB with 'HP' in the descriptive name would be an appropriate MIB selection. What I would like to do is ascertain an appropriate processor temperature then establish an alert but am failing to determine the process for doing this (the documentation is legion and I have just a small window to evaluate this product and to report to management).
