Custom SQL filter is incorrectly formatted in Availability of Each Node using NPM 12.1

I have installed NPM 12.1 and when setting up a site's page I am trying to configure the Availability of Each Node to only show the site's devices I receive the error "Custom SQL filter is incorrectly formatted". I used the same custom SQL filter in the Nodes with Problems and in the Nodes Not Up areas and the SQL filter works in both of those areas. What am I missing?
