I would like to create an alert from a specific trap, this way the alert will be shown in the alerts view and this could then be acknowledged. There doesn't appear to be a way to do this currently. I did try and insert a row into the AlertStatus table and the new alert appeared in the alerts view for a few seconds before it was deleted out by something in SolarWinds.
