Is this issue with IE7?

Hello All,

When I have Orion website links spawned or detached to other tabs within IE7, I will often get this popup.

For instance with SYSLOG detached to it's own tab - as it comes time to auto-refresh it will cause this popup and requires my interaction which i don't want to be bothered with.

Has anyone seen this? Is there any parameter inside IE7 settings I have missed?

I have also seen this behavior in Firefox (version 2) running on Windows XP. I see it most when I create a syslog view that changes the default parameters.

Try this-

1. Right-click My Computer and choose Properties.
2. Click the Advanced tab on your System Properties dialog box.
3. Click the Error Reporting button on the Advanced tab.
4. Place a check mark next to "Disable error reporting."
5. Leave the other radio button unchecked next to the text labeled, "But notify me when critical errors occur."
6. Click OK.

Sorry, but I failed to mention that this is IE7 running on Vista.

Vista does not have that same button "Error Reporting" like Windows XP. Any way it's not found beside the "Environment Variables" button any longer. It could be elsewhere, but I can't find it.

Do you know where it can be found inside Vista?

Unfortunately no I don't. Apparently this has been discussed previously
and will be addressed after v9. Could you use IE6 as standalone>? or in the meantime try adjusting the refresh rate by going to Admin-> Web Console settings. This should at least reduce the frequency of the messages.
