Statistics Summarization

Hello to the community... I need your help.

I 've changed the default values of the Statistics Summarization in Network Performance Monitoring Settings, but i dont see any changes in my reports.

eg. i ve change the value of the Detailed Statistics to be summarized into hourly statistics every 60days (7 days was the default). Two weeks after the change, i 've checked a router's availability graphic table and the data was still summarized into daily (!!!) statistics after 7 days.

Am i doing something wrong? Is there any value limitation (60days is to long to be managed??)???

This is the set up :

Retain Detail Stats60 DaysRetain Hourly Stats90 DaysRetain Daily Stats180 DaysRetain Events90 Days

Working on SolarWinds NPM 9.0 SP2

Check the registry what the numbers actually are (LOCAL MACHINE\Software\SolarWinds.Net\SWNetPerfMon\Settings\ ?)

Also there should be some log from the DB maintenance (now it’s called swDebugMaintenance.log (in program files/sw/orion)), there should be some numbers what’s actually used for summarization.

Still think your best bet is to upgrade to a newer version if possible.

I will look into, but first off I would recommend moving up to a newer version. Latest shipping is 10.1.2 SP1.
